James Harrison, Waterbury, Connecticut
This Harrison thirty hour mvt. C. 1805 has evidence of the Levenworth
movement with the threaded pinion arbors. But with this movement it has
one short idol dial mounting stud pinned to the front plate like the Riley
Whiting. This mvt. also had a sheet medal fly rather then wood. The
Levenworth movements had two short mvt. studs to attach to the dial on
the front plate. These are the correct original hands.

This eight day pull up wood mvt. uses a single weight cord for the strike side
and uses a doubled cord for the time.
A thirty hour mvt. that has threated pinion arbors to attach each wheel. The
two short dial supports on its front plate are also are threaded. One main
plate post is lower then the other. Note how the strike hardware is working
where a wire pushes down on the lower strike hardware that gets the strike
hardware in motion before its release onto the hour strike.
Also this one also has a calendar set up that had an idler wheel mounted on a
stud that has one pin that rotates a 31 tooth wheel once a day that is
mounted on the rear of the dial.
